Primary Mental Health and Addiction Practitioner
We are currently looking for an experienced Primary Mental Health and Addiction Practitioner to join the team.
Working as part of our Primary Mental Health and Addiction team, you will support young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health and addiction-related distress. This role provides youth-focused assessment, brief intervention, individual therapeutic support, and follow-up, with some intake work as required. The role supports timely access to care and helps young people and their whānau access appropriate interventions and referral pathways.
To be successful in this role, you will hold provisional registration with a relevant professional body such as NZAC, NZCCA, DAPAANZ, or equivalent, eligible for, or able to obtain Te Whatu Ora accreditation. You must be able to demonstrate experience delivering mental health and/or AOD interventions approaches.
This is a part-time permanent position (O.6FTE).
