Primary Mental Health Team Leader
The Primary Mental Health Team Leader is a key leadership role within Vibe. This role has been developed to provide professional leadership for our primary mental health services including overall co-ordination of the delivery of services and reporting on contracts.
This position is responsible for leading a team of staff who are supporting young people which includes brief intervention counselling; whanau engagement; therapeutic group programmes; mental health and wellbeing promotion and education.
The Primary Mental Health Team Leader will also work closely with other staff to develop Vibe’s youth mental health and addictions services, and to ensure that all Vibe services are youth friendly, accessible, and responsive to the needs and aspirations of young people.
It is anticipated that this role will include at least 0.4 FTE of clinical service delivery.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be an experienced clinician with a minimum of 5 years' practice experience. You will need to demonstrate experience in leadership within a community, youth, health or social service setting and experience in providing supervision and case management.
This is a full-time (40 hours per week Mon-Fri) position.
