General Health

Vibe provides free, confidential primary health services, for Hutt Valley youth aged 10-24 years old.  Our health services provide complementary care, meaning young people can be registered with a local medical practice, and also access our services here at Vibe.

Vibe has Doctors, Registered Nurses and Nurse Practitioner clinics available.

We have clinic appointments accessible at our offices in Lower Hutt and Upper Hutt, as well as within some of the secondary schools in Lower Hutt (check out the list here to see if there is a Vibe doctor /or nurse available at your school).

Want to know what health issues you can see us for?  You choose!

We can see you for most of your health needs.  For longer term health concerns, we encourage you to access your family doctor or local medical practice (if possible), especially if you have previously seen them about something before.

If you’re not sure, give us a call or make an appointment and we’ll see what we can do.

Some common things young people see our Doctors and Nurses for are:

  • Coughs, colds, sore throats;

  • Skin issues such as acne, eczema, skin infections, rash;

  • Asthma;

  • Injuries due to sports /or other;

  • Mental health:  sadness, anxiousness, stress, worry, bullying;

  • Sexual health:  embarrassing questions, condoms and contraception, STI testing and treatment.

If you, or someone you know sits outside of our age band, check out the link below with further information about clinics accepting new patients.
