Youth Payment (YP)
The Youth Payment (sometimes referred to as the Independent Youth Benefit) is a weekly payment that you may be entitled to if you’re not able to live at home. There are certain criteria that you must meet to be eligible. If you’re 16 or 17 years old, give us a call and we can talk about eligibility and how to apply.


Young Parent Payment (YPP)
The Young Parent Payment is a weekly payment for young parents aged 16-18 years old to help them financially support themselves and their child. The payment is available to both mothers and fathers, and like the youth payment there is certain criteria that you must meet to be eligible. The payment cannot begin until the baby is born, but you can start the application before the birth. Give us a call and we can talk you through the process.
