Youth Engagement

Our teams vision is to help young people realise their full potential and support them to create opportunities for their future. The Youth Service team, made up of youth coaches and social workers support this vision by connecting young people into education and employment.

If you’re aged between 16-17 years old, haven’t quite got NCEA level 1 and/or 2, and would like support to either stay in education or to find a course that will help lead you into a job, our Youth Coaches can help.

The Youth Service team also takes care of all the Youth Payment and Young Parent Payment applications in the Hutt Valley. Check out our Youth Payment/Young Parent Payment page for more info.
